China Airlines and EVA Air reported record comparable-period revenue for September and the first nine months, CNA reported on October 8. China Airlines generated TWD20.933 billion in September and TWD185.92 billion over nine months. EVA reported TWD20.749 billion and TWD194.38 billion respectively.
Holiday passenger demand and shipments of semiconductors, AI servers and consumer electronics supported the results. Tigerair Taiwan also reported TWD1.739 billion in September revenue and TWD15.621 billion over nine months, with a ninety-one percent average load factor for the latter period. These figures measure revenue and traffic, not profit. Expectations for year-end cargo demand remain company outlook statements rather than realized results.
