Syrian Airlines presented a new corporate identity at Damascus International Airport (DAM) on October 5. Dark green and gold replace its earlier blue-heavy livery, with Airbus A320-200 YK-AKJ becoming the first aircraft in the new scheme after repainting in the Czech Republic. The design features a stylized Simurgh bird.
Aerospace Global News reports that chief executive Anwar Akkad aims to increase the operating fleet from six aircraft to twelve by year-end and expand the network from nine destinations at the start of the year to twenty-five. Digital upgrades include a new website and a reservation-system change planned for November. Those fleet and network figures remain targets rather than completed expansion.
