Saudi Arabia's civil-aviation authority reported three deaths and thirty-six injuries following attacks on King Khalid Airport (RUH) in Riyadh and Abha Airport (AHB) on October 6–7, according to AeroTime. Two women died and twenty-eight people were injured at Abha; one Sudanese resident died and eight were injured in Riyadh.
The Houthis claimed drone and missile strikes. The authority said airport facilities were damaged and that it was coordinating security assessments and protection for passengers and staff. These figures concern the October 6–7 incidents. They are separate from the later October 8 Riyadh aircraft fire and the casualty announcement made on October 9, and should not be substituted for that later toll.
