LATAM Brazil and Embraer announced on October 8 that the delivery process for the airline's first E195-E2 had begun. It is the first of twelve expected by year-end, following a commitment announced in 2025 for up to seventy-four aircraft. Customs, cabin approval and Brazilian ANAC procedures remain necessary before commercial operation.
The 136-seat, two-by-two aircraft will support smaller and medium-sized Brazilian markets. An initial fourteen aircraft are planned for forty-two routes, including eight new services and four additional cities, with commercial deployment scheduled between November 2026 and March 2027. Delivery preparations, operating approvals and revenue service are separate milestones, rather than a completed inaugural flight.
