A passenger scheduled to fly Delta to Seattle was arrested after allegedly entering the airfield at John Wayne Airport (SNA) through an emergency-access door on October 6, AeroTime reports. Airport officials say he took a tug, struck a utility cart and then attempted to take a lavatory-service truck before police intervened.
Authorities identified the suspect as twenty-six-year-old Skyler Jay Barr and reported vehicle-theft, trespass and vandalism charges. He was taken for medical evaluation. Aircraft movements stopped briefly while staff inspected the affected taxiway for debris, and Delta said it was cooperating with investigators. The account concerns alleged ground-vehicle theft, not control of an aircraft, and charges are not convictions.
