Starlux Airlines received its 5-Star Airline certification for the second consecutive year at the 2026 SKYTRAX World Airline Awards in London on September 18, 2026. The carrier was also awarded first place as the World's Cleanest Airline.
The SKYTRAX 5-Star rating is based on audits and evaluations covering airport services, cabin environment, onboard service, and catering quality. The World's Cleanest Airline category focuses on cabin cleanliness, including seats, tray tables, carpets, and lavatories.
Starlux Airlines Chief Executive Officer Glenn Chai stated that retaining the 5-Star rating and winning the cleanliness category reflects the dedication of the airline's staff. SKYTRAX Chief Executive Officer Edward Plaisted congratulated the carrier on its achievements and high service standards across all cabin classes.
