Boeing and Korean Air announced on September 16, 2026, that the airline has finalized an order for 103 Boeing aircraft across its widebody and single-aisle airplane families. The deal comprises 20 777-9, 25 787-10, 50 737-10, and eight 777-8 Freighter aircraft.
The agreement fulfills Korean Air's procurement commitment originally made in August 2025. The milestone was commemorated at an event in Seoul attended by Korean Air Chairman and CEO Walter Cho and Boeing Commercial Airplanes President and CEO Stephanie Pope.
According to previous company statements, Boeing had completed certification flight testing for the 737-10 variant as of July 2026, with certification anticipated in 2026 and initial delivery expected in 2027.
