Qantas has opened a new Product Innovation Center in Adelaide, South Australia, bringing together the airline's technology product development teams in one location as it accelerates in-house development of digital tools and AI-driven customer experiences.

South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas joined Qantas Group Chief Technology, AI and Transformation Officer Rachel Yangoyan at the official opening of the center, located in the Adelaide CBD.

The first 50 employees have begun working at the new premises, and Qantas is recruiting for an additional 40 roles, O. For Qantas expects to grow the center to more than 400 digital and technology positions over the next three years, with support from the South Australian Government.

Qantas is also partnering with Adelaide University to create graduate recruitment pathways directly into the center, with graduates expected to start in February 2027.
