United Airlines has unveiled a new mountain-themed aircraft livery named 'Mountain Ascent' to promote its winter and ski routes across the United States. The special design will be applied to an Embraer E175 aircraft serving mountain destinations, including Aspen, Sun Valley, and Vail, with entry into service planned for early 2027.
The aircraft design wraps the rear half of the fuselage in a snow-capped mountain motif before transitioning into the carrier's traditional blue tail. Separately, United's new winter route between Boston and Jackson Hole will be operated using a 126-seat Boeing 737-700 rather than the E175. The airline remains an official partner of US Ski and Snowboard through 2027.
