Eurocontrol says it has delivered Wave 2.5.1 of its integrated Network Management (iNM) programme. The release expands the iNM Digital Platform to include aeronautical information publication (AIP) production, as part of a gradual migration from the European AIS Database (EAD) to the enhanced eEAD.
The eEAD AIP Production service enables aeronautical information services (AIS) providers to produce AIPs, eAIPs and other AIS documents directly from a single integrated information source in eEAD. Eurocontrol says this strengthens consistency between data maintained by AIS providers and information ultimately published for users.
More than 60 States provide aeronautical information to eEAD, while over 200 organisations use the system to access charts, AIPs, NOTAMs and other AIS data.
