Ukraine’s 92nd Separate Assault Brigade posted on its official Telegram channel that a wounded serviceman had been evacuated from a position by aerial drone. Aerospace Global News reported that the brigade used a heavy-lift hexacopter built by Gurzuf Defence. The report did not disclose the operation’s date or location.

The report said mines and high activity by enemy drones in the area prevented Ukrainian forces from using unmanned ground vehicles to evacuate the serviceman. The 92nd worked with Gurzuf to modify the drone for greater stability in the air. Released video shows the wounded soldier attaching himself to a harness before flying out of harm’s way.
