Headquartered in Lisbon, euroAtlantic Airways appointed Pauls Calitis as its Chief Executive Officer in May 2026. Calitis previously served as Chief Operating Officer and interim Chief Executive Officer at Riga-based airBaltic before joining euroAtlantic. The airline was fully acquired by private equity firm Njord Partners in 2024.
euroAtlantic specializes in long-haul widebody ACMI charter operations and also operates scheduled flights between Lisbon and São Tomé and Príncipe with subsidiary STP Airlines. The carrier introduced its first Airbus A330-200 in late 2025, transitioning away from a traditional Boeing-only operator to a dual-fleet strategy.
