Schedule analysis for January to October 2026 shows that four airports stopped seeing Allegiant Air aircraft: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which last saw the airline in January 2026; Columbia Metropolitan Airport, Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport (OAK) and Palm Springs International Airport, all in May 2026. Three of the four are in California, following the removal of flights to San Diego in September 2025.

Los Angeles was Allegiant's longest-serving of the four markets: the carrier arrived at LAX on May 1, 2009, operated 42 routes there over 17 years, and carried a total of 5.8 million passengers to and from the airport between 2009 and 2026, according to U.S. Department of Transportation data. Columbia returned to the network in May 2025 after a 16-year absence but was dropped 12 months later, with only 47.3 percent of seats filled.

With the four exits, Allegiant now serves six places in California: Burbank, Fresno, Monterey, Orange County, Santa Maria and Stockton. The Los Angeles basin remains served through Burbank and Orange County, while San Francisco Bay has been removed from the airline's map. Between November 2026 and next May, Cirium Diio data shows the carrier's aircraft will appear at 123 airports across the United States.
