Emirates launched daily nonstop flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Helsinki Airport (HEL) in Finland on October 1, 2026, using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Helsinki becomes the airline's fourth Nordic destination after Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm, expanding its presence in the region.

According to the schedule published by Emirates, outbound flight EK167 departs Dubai at 08:15 and arrives in Helsinki at 14:30. Return flight EK168 leaves Helsinki at 16:20 and reaches Dubai at 00:20 the following day. All times are local. The route operates year-round, providing scheduled nonstop service between Finland and the United Arab Emirates.

The aircraft has 298 seats across Business, Premium Economy and Economy. Passengers can connect through Dubai to Emirates services across Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australia. The inaugural flight also carried connecting passengers from more than 20 cities, including Taipei, Mumbai, Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney.

In its inaugural-flight report published on October 2, Helsinki Airport operator Finavia explicitly stated that the first flight arrived on October 1. The route therefore launched on October 1, while October 2 was the publication date of the report.
