Boeing has received an undefinitized contract action worth approximately $14.7 billion from Lockheed Martin to scale production and deliver PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) seekers.

The award, announced on October 5, 2026, supports a seven‑year plan to triple production of seekers for the PAC-3 MSE interceptor.

Boeing said hiring and the latest production expansion began earlier this year, expecting the contract to create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs in the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Since 2024, Boeing has invested more than $200 million in its Huntsville operation to expand the seeker factory and modernize facilities.

The contract allows Boeing to begin work while final terms are negotiated, and includes upgrades to supplier relationships and production controls.
