The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an order requiring Breeze Airways and Delta Air Lines to inspect fuel hose lines on 13 Airbus A220 aircraft registered in the United States. The directive follows the discovery of a twisting defect in the fuel hoses that raised concerns over potential fuel leaks and fire risks.
According to Simple Flying, the FAA is targeting these 13 U.S.-registered A220s for fuel hose inspections to address the twisting defect. Both airlines must comply with the inspection schedule to ensure the fuel systems meet safety standards and eliminate the leak and fire hazards.
