Airbus and Air France have finalized the establishment of a 50-50 joint venture named Alpha Component Solutions, dedicated to supporting Airbus A350 operators worldwide. The new entity is operated jointly between Airbus and Air France-KLM to manage a global shared-access pool, providing aircraft component assets, maintenance services, supply chain management, and repair capabilities for A350 customers.

By combining the capabilities of Airbus Flight Hours Services (FHS) and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M), the joint venture contractually supports more than 500 aircraft. According to AeroTime, the first A350 entered service in 2015 with Qatar Airways, and Airbus has delivered 737 A350 aircraft to date alongside orders for 1,624 more.
