Air Canada has officially inaugurated a new 9-hour nonstop transatlantic route operated by the A321XLR narrowbody aircraft, with flights offered on a limited basis, marking the carrier's further expansion of narrowbody transatlantic operations.
According to aviation news site Simple Flying, the service features overnight departures and nearly nine-hour returns designed to test passenger comfort on long-haul narrowbody sectors while preserving year-round network connectivity.
The airline has not yet disclosed the specific city pairs or detailed schedule timings for the new service, which are expected to be released in due course.
