Domestic flights in Taiwan gradually resumed during the afternoon, the Civil Aeronautics Administration said. It coordinated with airlines to add flights or use larger aircraft for a total of 25 flight operations: 17 on Penghu routes and eight on Kinmen routes, providing 2,251 seats.

As of 6 p.m., the agency said, 159 domestic flights had been canceled and 20 delayed. Because services had been interrupted for two days, some passengers in Kinmen and Penghu were still unable to obtain seats. The agency advised passengers to confirm their seats before going to the airport to avoid long waits.
