The Central Weather Administration noted the typhoon is moving northeastward from south of Japan, with the most significant impact on the Kanto region expected from September 21 afternoon through the first half of September 22.

Tigerair Taiwan will advance flights IT201 (Tokyo Narita to Taoyuan) and IT280 (Kaohsiung to Tokyo Narita) on September 21. Starlux Airlines will advance flight JX314 (Taichung to Tokyo) to 7:15 a.m. as flight JX3314, and flight JX315 (Tokyo to Taichung) to 12:45 p.m.

China Airlines announced that its September 21 flights CI126/CI127 (Kaohsiung-Tokyo Narita) and CI108/CI109 (Taoyuan-Tokyo Narita) will be advanced, while flights CI222 (Songshan-Tokyo Haneda) and CI106 (Taoyuan-Tokyo Narita) are delayed. EVA Air had not announced any flight changes as of 7:00 p.m. on September 20.
