Korean Air has finalized a KRW 60 trillion (US$44.8 billion) agreement to acquire 103 Boeing aircraft, along with engines from GE Aerospace and CFM International. The deal, which completes a procurement plan first announced in August 2025, was formalized at a signing ceremony in Seoul on September 15, 2026.
The aircraft order consists of 20 Boeing 777-9s, 25 Boeing 787-10s, 50 Boeing 737-10s, and eight Boeing 777-8F freighters. According to the airline, deliveries are scheduled to begin in the early 2030s. The fleet modernization supports Korean Air's capacity needs following its upcoming integration of Asiana Airlines.
