According to a report published by aviation news website Simple Flying, Star Alliance member carrier United Airlines continues to wait for the delivery of its ordered Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft.

Simple Flying reported that United Airlines is currently sitting on hundreds of lie-flat passenger seats. These seats are specifically designed to fit only one aircraft model—the Boeing 737 MAX 10—which the airline has not yet received.

Because these specialized lie-flat seats cannot fit any other aircraft type in the airline's fleet, United Airlines cannot make use of the seats until the Boeing 737 MAX 10 deliveries take place.
