United Airlines has canceled a planned commemorative flyover involving a Boeing 777 aircraft that was originally scheduled to mark the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. According to a report by Simple Flying, the airline's planned aerial tribute will no longer take place as previously arranged.

The commemorative flyover had been planned to occur at a specific moment, timed to coincide with the exact impact time of United Airlines Flight 175 (UA175) during the 2001 attacks. However, the carrier's arrangements for the commemorative flight fell through, leading to the cancellation of the planned event.
