Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense released updates on the activities of the Chinese military around the Taiwan Strait. From 6:00 a.m. on September 3 to 6:00 a.m. on September 4, 2026, authorities detected five Chinese warships and five official vessels operating continuously in the area. No Chinese military aircraft were detected during this period.
In response, Taiwan's military monitored the activities using mission aircraft, vessels, and shore-based missile systems.
According to SKYTICAL database records, the previous tracking on September 1 showed two Chinese aircraft, five warships, and five official vessels. Over the past seven days, the daily average stood at 6.3 Chinese warships, compared to 7.7 warships daily over the past 30 days.
