US Air Force Divests Three A-29C Super Tucanos That Did Not Meet Test Pilot School Needs and Seeks Training Alternatives：The U.S. Air Force has divested three A-29C Super Tucanos assigned to the Test Pilot School at Edwards Air Force Base after determining they did not meet the school's requirements, and is seeking alternatives for spin training and mission-systems instruction. The aircraft were transferred to Edwards in July 2024. On Oct. 29, 2026, the Air Force Test Center issued a notice of intent outlining ground handling and on-call maintenance, excluding return-to-flight maintenance; the aircraft are not expected to fly again.
