Frontier Airlines has announced plans to launch its first South American flights in December 2026, connecting Orlando with Bogotá, Medellín and Cartagena in Colombia.
The US low-cost carrier announced the expansion on September 10, 2026. All three routes remain subject to government approval.
Daily Medellín flights begin December 10, followed by Bogotá on December 14. Bogotá will initially operate six times weekly, increasing to daily on March 6, 2027. Weekly Cartagena service starts December 19.
Introductory one-way fares start at $99 for Bogotá, $169 for Medellín and $129 for Cartagena, covering selected dates from January 14 through April 5, 2027. Frontier plans to operate the routes with Airbus A320-family aircraft.
