Heavy rain has intensified mudslides along the railway section between Fangshan and Fangye in Taiwan. Severe rainfall in the region has worsened mudslide activity along the corridor, affecting the local railway infrastructure.

In response to the intensifying mudslide conditions between Fangshan and Fangye, Taiwan Railways announced a complete suspension of train operations on the South-Link Line. All train services on the South-Link Line are halted prior to midnight (24:00) on August 25, 2026.

The full operational suspension applies across the entire South-Link Line route until midnight on August 25. Rail authorities continue to monitor weather conditions and mudslide development in the affected sector.
