SEMI announced a strategic partnership with Taiwan High Speed Rail on August 25, 2026, ahead of the SEMICON Taiwan 2026 exhibition scheduled to begin on September 2. SEMI estimates that more than 100,000 global semiconductor professionals will visit Taiwan for the trade show.
During the exhibition, Taiwan High Speed Rail will increase train service frequencies and offer on-site badge collection at five stations, including Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, enabling international visitors to travel efficiently between key technology hubs.
According to Taiwan High Speed Rail, industry partners from 65 countries will utilize the high-speed rail network to connect directly with Taiwan's semiconductor ecosystem and technology clusters.
