The Boeing Company has completed certification flight testing on both the 737 MAX 7 and 737 MAX 10, marking a significant step for the final two variants of the MAX family awaiting regulatory approval. The development was disclosed in Boeing's second quarter 2026 financial results and reported by Simple Flying on 28 July.

According to Boeing, 'As of July, certification flight testing has been completed on both the 737-7 and 737-10. The company continues to anticipate certification in 2026 and first delivery in 2027 for both variants.' The Q2 results also showed revenue of $24.6 billion and 171 commercial airplane deliveries.

The 737 MAX 7 and MAX 10 are the smallest and largest members of the MAX family respectively. Completion of flight testing allows Boeing to proceed with the final certification documentation, though the actual timelines remain subject to regulatory review.
