South Korean low-cost carrier Eastar Jet has announced a collaboration with JYP Entertainment girl group NMIXX, including a special aircraft livery featuring the group's members. The promotional aircraft will be Boeing 737-8 (737 MAX 8) HL8717, with service scheduled to begin on November 11, 2026 and continue through April 30, 2027.

The Eastar Jet–NMIXX collaboration extends beyond the exterior livery to the passenger journey. From October 2, the airline began rolling out NMIXX-themed international boarding passes. Paper boarding passes for flights departing South Korea feature group concept images, while selected mobile boarding passes for overseas departures back to South Korea randomly display member photos and handwritten messages.

Inside the cabin, selected Eastar Jet aircraft including HL8717 will use seat headrest covers themed around NMIXX album artwork. From October 20, relevant flights are also scheduled to play greetings and songs recorded by the members. HL8717 is the only aircraft in the campaign planned to carry large-scale exterior images of NMIXX members, with the special-livery aircraft scheduled to enter service from November 11.

HL8717 is a Boeing 737-8 in Eastar Jet's fleet. Flight-tracking data shows that the aircraft remains active on the airline's international network and has recently operated to destinations including Taipei, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Hong Kong and Phu Quoc. After the special livery is applied, the aircraft is expected to continue operating across different routes according to fleet scheduling rather than being assigned to a single destination, meaning actual opportunities to fly on the aircraft will depend on daily dispatch decisions.

NMIXX currently consists of six members: Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin. Eastar Jet said the collaboration is intended to support promotion of NMIXX's latest work and target overseas markets with established fan bases, including Japan and Taiwan, by integrating entertainment content into the travel experience through boarding passes, cabin elements and the special-livery aircraft.

Under the currently announced plan, the NMIXX-themed HL8717 is expected to remain in service through April 30, 2027. Actual dates for the promotional elements and individual flight assignments may still change depending on Eastar Jet's operating requirements and fleet scheduling.
