Aircraft dismantling specialist TARMAC Aerosave announced on September 11, 2026, that over 10 Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX family aircraft have been earmarked for teardown before the end of the year under an agreement with AerFin.

Driven by strong market demand for next-generation engines and spare parts, TARMAC Aerosave has established a dedicated organization and assembly line tailored to AerFin's specific operational needs. The dedicated line will handle cabin and landing gear removal as well as component list management.

Founded in 2007, TARMAC Aerosave is jointly owned by Airbus, Safran, and SUEZ. The partnership between TARMAC Aerosave and AerFin spans 10 years, with both entities already preparing additional teardown projects for 2027.
