Mandarin Airlines, in partnership with Grand Tour Travel Agency, has launched non-stop charter flights between Taitung and Penghu, with inaugural services commencing on September 11, 2026. The direct flight shortens travel time between the two destinations to 75 minutes.
The inaugural outbound flight AE7951 departed Taitung Airport at 9:50 a.m. on September 11 and arrived at Penghu Airport at 11:05 a.m. The return flight AE7952 departed Penghu at 12:10 p.m. and arrived in Taitung at 1:20 p.m.
Mandarin Airlines General Manager Chuang Ming-che stated that a total of five round-trip charter flights are scheduled on September 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19. Chairman Chen Ta-chun added that aircraft capacity is allocated flexibly based on market demand.
