Operations are running at full speed at AMAC Aerospace Group of Companies, with new approvals secured, contracts signed and increasing demand across maintenance, completion and modification services. The company says Bombardier maintenance projects at its Basel hangars are up 25% compared with 2025, and it is about to perform its third 8C check on a Bombardier Global Express this year, the first time it has completed three such major inspections on Bombardier aircraft within a single year. It has also signed a new contract for a medevac installation on a Bombardier Challenger aircraft scheduled to arrive at the beginning of 2027, with a possible second project to follow in 2028.

Connectivity installations remain one of its most requested modification services, with particularly strong demand for Gogo FDX, including an ACJ319 currently undergoing installation, a first worldwide installation on a Bombardier Global 5000, and further narrow-body contracts signed for the next three months. Self-defense work also continues to be important: since 2016 the company has equipped nine aircraft with self-defense solutions, completing an installation on an ACJ330 earlier this year with two more Bombardier Challengers in progress. On the completions side, AMAC reports renewed interest in full-scale cabin mockups, which it designs and builds in-house. In August 2026 its sister company JCB Aero, in Auch near Toulouse, received Part 145 Boeing approval covering base and line maintenance on Boeing 737-600, 737-700, 737-800 and 737-900 aircraft, adding to its Airbus Part 145 approval held since MRO services launched in 2024.
