According to reporting by Simple Flying, European low-cost carrier Ryanair generated €4.99 billion in total ancillary revenue during fiscal year 2026 (FY2026). Ancillary revenue includes all income generated from services beyond the baseline passenger airfare.

The airline earned approximately $27 per passenger from ancillary offerings over the same fiscal period. Key revenue drivers identified include charges for checked baggage, optional seat assignments, onboard food and drinks, and additional extra travel options.

The financial results demonstrate how non-ticket passenger fees contribute significantly to Ryanair's overall earnings model, with options such as reserved seating, baggage allowances, and inflight refreshments generating consistent revenue across its passenger flights.
