British Airways is facing a lawsuit after a falling bottle struck a sleeping passenger, causing lasting eye damage. The legal action stems from an in-flight incident where the passenger sustained physical injuries while asleep on board.
According to details reported by Simple Flying, cabin crew members provided initial first aid to treat a scalp laceration. However, the first aid measures failed to soothe the injury sustained by the passenger.
The scalp laceration ultimately resulted in severe secondary medical conditions. The passenger subsequently experienced a concussion, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms, and double vision following the event.
