Tigerair Taiwan announced on October 1, 2026 that it had launched Tigerhop, a virtual interline platform developed with Icelandic travel-technology company Dohop. Scoot is the first airline partner, allowing travelers to combine flights from the two carriers in one booking flow.
Examples published by the airline include journeys from Singapore through Taiwan to Japanese destinations such as Akita, Tottori and Okayama. The platform permits connection windows of three to 48 hours and offers optional ConnectSure disruption protection.
Tigerhop is not a conventional interline ticket and checked baggage is not transferred automatically. Passengers must collect and re-check bags at the connection point. Tigerair Taiwan says free priority-baggage handling is provided when its flight is the first sector and the traveler has checked baggage.
