RwandAir chief commercial officer Reuben Mbonye told AeroTime that the airline expects four additional Airbus A330-200s during the current financial year. The plan follows the arrival of another A330-200 on August 24.

Mbonye said the extra widebodies would support new destinations in Europe and the Far East. Specific cities and launch dates have not been announced, and the plan remains dependent on aircraft deliveries and operational readiness.

In a May update, RwandAir had already said an A330-200 was expected in the fourth quarter to strengthen long-haul operations. The latest interview signals a broader widebody expansion.
