The UAE GCAA confirmed through state news agency WAM on September 30, 2026 that flydubai FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv had diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after a security incident. The incident was brought under control; some crew members were injured and taken to hospital.
Flightradar24’s flight data shows emergency code 7700, followed by unlawful-interference code 7500 and a return to 7700. Those transmissions alone do not establish the cause or motive.
GCAA said its investigation continues. Flightradar24 also published an updated airline statement suspending flights to and from Israel during the investigation, without a resumption date.
