Air Astana will open nonstop service between Kazakhstan's capital Astana and Bangkok on December 11, 2026, using Airbus A321LR aircraft. Flights are scheduled twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Kazakhstan's transport authorities announced the route. Aviation Week reports an outbound flight time of about seven hours 50 minutes and a return journey of about eight hours 30 minutes.
The new service will complement Air Astana's existing daily Almaty–Bangkok route, bringing the airline's Kazakhstan–Thailand schedule to nine weekly flights.
