Taiwan’s Civil Aeronautics Administration said all domestic flights are scheduled to be canceled tomorrow, based on the latest information provided by local operators. International flights may also continue to be adjusted in response to the typhoon’s movement. The authority urged passengers to follow flight updates and confirm their flight status with their airline before departure.
The authority reported that 126 domestic flights and 40 international flights had been canceled as of 18:00 today. It said the international cancellations mainly involved flights to and from Okinawa. To move stranded passengers before the typhoon’s arrival, the authority coordinated with 立榮航空 and 華信航空 to add two flights each this morning: one on the Kaohsiung–Penghu route and one on the Taipei–Penghu route.
