Chery announced two eVTOL concepts under its Lingxiao brand at its annual Global Innovation Conference, held in Wuhu in Anhui province on October 20, 2026. The report says information about the programs’ status and development timeframe is currently scarce. The Lingxiao Q212 is an all-electric, two-seat eVTOL with a compound-wing and lift-and-cruise propulsion architecture. It should be able to reach speeds of up to 120 km/h, with around an hour of flight endurance at full load.
The other concept, Lingxiao J506, is a five-seat tiltrotor. Both aircraft are crewed. The report says the J506 is reported to have been designed to potentially support autonomous flights.
