Qatar Airways has announced plans to start direct flights between Doha and Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) on 15 December 2027. The service is planned to connect with the airline’s global network through Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha. Qatar Airways says it will initially operate three return services each week.
Flights from Doha to Western Sydney are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with return services departing Western Sydney on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The airline plans to use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the route and says it intends to progressively increase operations to daily services.
