The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) says it has issued certification for Boeing’s 737 MAX-10. The FAA said its amended type certificate confirms that the aircraft complies with all applicable design and safety requirements. It also issued an updated Production Limitation Record authorizing production.

Before approval, the agency required the MAX-10 to incorporate improvements addressing requirements in the Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability Act and NTSB recommendations. The FAA said these include flight-control system updates with an enhanced angle-of-attack sensor. The announcement says that, with production approved, the aircraft can be delivered to domestic and foreign carriers.
