Virgin Atlantic began nonstop flights between London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Phuket International Airport (HKT) in Thailand on October 18, 2026. The service is the first direct connection between Heathrow and the Thai beach destination. The airline is operating the route as a seasonal winter service using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Schedule data from aviation analytics company Cirium indicate that the route is planned to operate three times a week from mid-October until late March. Flight VS214 is scheduled to leave Heathrow at 15:45 local time and arrive in Phuket at 09:55 the next day, with a scheduled flight time of 12 hours and 10 minutes.
