The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has published its October 2026 revision of the Easy Access Rules for Aircrew. The revision incorporates EASA ED Decision 2025/022/R on flight crew licensing for gyroplanes and non-commercial gyroplane operations under visual flight rules by day and by night.

It also incorporates Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/781, which amends requirements for flight simulation training devices and their use in pilot training, testing and checking. EASA ED Decision 2026/006/R on qualification of devices with an FSTD capability signature and their use in aeroplane and helicopter type-rating training is included as well. EASA says the rules are available as an enhanced online publication and in machine-readable XML format.
