Turkish Airlines and CFM International signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on October 16, 2026, in Istanbul. The preliminary agreement covers more than 300 LEAP-1B engines, including spares, and long-term service support for over 600 fleet engines.
The two sides also agreed in principle to long-term services for Turkish Airlines’ entire LEAP-1B engine fleet. The MOU includes a material services agreement to support establishing an engine maintenance, repair and overhaul facility in Turkey. Engines used by Turkish Airlines subsidiary AJet would also be covered.
