Garmin said on October 14, 2026, that more than 2,500 aircraft now feature Garmin Autoland. The company said the system, initially certified in May 2020, is now available on more than 15 aircraft models.
Garmin said Autoland was certified for incorporation on the HondaJet Elite II, Embraer Phenom 300EV, Pilatus PC-12 PRO and Epic E1000 AX this year. The HondaJet Elite II and Phenom 300EV certifications marked its first availability on twin-engine jets. The system calculates a flight path to a suitable airport while avoiding terrain and adverse weather, then initiates a stabilized runway approach and lands the aircraft.
