Ukraine is expanding the range of systems available to intercept fast drones, Aerospace Global News reported. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy outlined three systems being developed or deployed: interceptor drones, automated gun turrets and small missiles.
Defence Minister Yevhenii Khmara reported successful results from deploying interceptor drones against jet-powered drones and said hundreds of heavy-calibre turrets were also being deployed. The report quoted him as saying one unit destroyed five aerial assets with five Bars interceptors during a combat operation, describing that operation as a 100% success rate.
