Airlines are preparing new services for the 2026/27 winter season. The route selection also includes seasonal services and resumptions, and launch dates remain subject to change. The winter aviation season runs from 25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027. United Airlines is among the carriers adding routes.
United plans to start San Francisco–Sapporo flights on 11 December, operating three times weekly with Boeing 787-9 aircraft. From 17 December, it is also introducing Houston–Cartagena and Washington Dulles–Cartagena services. Each of those routes is scheduled to operate four times weekly with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
