Starlux Airlines reported September revenue of NT$4.975 billion, up 69% year on year. Passenger revenue was NT$3.72 billion, up 70%, while cargo revenue reached NT$706 million, up 5% from August and 59% year on year. The airline said the traditional cargo peak season was arriving, with demand from the AI-server supply chain, shipments of semiconductor equipment and electronic components, and year-end shopping-season stocking needs contributing to stronger demand for air-cargo capacity. Starlux said it was optimistic about the cargo market.

Starlux said it would progressively open routes from Taipei to Bali and from Taichung to Sapporo and Nagoya starting in October. The airline also said it began a joint-operating partnership with American Airlines on September 30. Passengers flying from Taipei to the United States can connect to American Airlines’ network through codeshare flights, according to Starlux. It said Taipei–Phoenix and Taipei–Ontario services would increase to five flights per week during the winter peak season.
